Yemi Alade, Davido and Falz are among the 200 Most Influential People of African Descent list released today.
The Most Influential People of Africa Descent (MIPAD) honours outstanding individuals in four categories including media & culture, business & entrepreneurship, politics & governance, humanitarian & religion.
Yemi Alade, Falz and Davido made the list alongside Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Ono’s Ariyo, Seyi Tinubu and Stella Damascus.
“Over the years the contributions and impact of young and highly influential Africans have been neglected leaving a huge gap in the quest to inspire the next generation towards greater exploits,” said Kamil Olufowobi, chief executive officer of MIPAD.
“We are all about paving the way for Africans to embrace creativity and sustainable success within our peoples.”
