Mayorkun and D’Banj working on a new music together, reports say.
D’Banj who took a short break from making music following the loss of his son, hinted this via Twitter recently.
Further details of this reported duet are yet to be made public.
However, D’Banj wrote on Twitter that one of his associates facilitated the duet.
“Congratulations, Mayorkun. You should thank Cheeky Chizzy. He made me do this,” D’Banj said.
Earlier in the year, Chizzy had put out a joint effort with D’Banj. The song was titled, “Lemonade”.
This tweet has sparked controversy from tweeps, as they are curious to know if the Koko Master would have worked with Mayorkun without the intercession of Chizzy.
But, Mayorkun replied to the tweet saying: “Blessings, Bangalee, it’s about to be madness!”
Mayorkun’s debut album is expected to be released before the end of the year.
So far, he has released 2 songs, “Posh” and “Fantasy”. These two songs were rumoured to be off the album.
If the duet with D’Banj worked out, it could be one of few songs that would make the cut in Mayorkun’s debut.
