Made In Lagos, which had earlier been announced as a joint Starboy EP, will now be released as Wizkid’s fourth studio album, Wizkid has revealed.
The Starboy Entertainment boss revealed the change in an interview with renowned DJ, Tim Westwood last weekend.
Wizkid explained that the new album will have only ten songs, adding that it would not feature any guest artist.
“The new album is called Made In Lagos — ten tracks, Wizkid, Made In Lagos; ten tracks, no features: straight Wizkid.” Wizzy told Westwood.
The singer had first announced in February that Made In Lagos will be a collaborative EP with all the artists on his Starboy label.
However, he did not reveal the reason behind the change. Also, there is no word about the status of the Starboy EP.
Wizkid’s album, Sounds From The Other Side was targeted at a rather global audience. Made In Lagos could be just another attempt to court the attention of a worldwide audience again; something STFOS did not completely achieve.
