Following widespread accusations that Olamide’s new song, “Science Student”, was glorifying drug abuse, the artist has once again denounced the claim that he was glorifying drug abuse.

Olamide made the denial in his Instagram post yesterday after former Edo State Gubernatorial candidate, Pedro Obaseki, accused him of promoting the vice in his song.

This would be the singer’s second denial of praising drug abuse; Baddo wrote on his IG that he hoped that people would desist from substance abuse.

“Don’t abuse alcohol. Stop mixing what you don’t know about. Live responsibly and drink responsibly. Don’t aspire the ‘highness state’but a state of purpose fulfillment and passion discovery.”

The artist admitted that drug abuse could only be stopped by working together to campaign against the dangers of abusing drugs.

“Together let’s put an end to drug abuse and save as many lives as possible.”

“Science Students”, since its release, has been raking several views and streams on popular platforms, thereby becoming popular every day.

The artist said the video for the single would be released soon.
