A defiant Mr. Eazi, has announced that he would be giving out $1000 to anyone who makes a video with the hashtag #fireburnthehaters.

This is coming barely 24-hour after his interview with Capital Xtra where he claimed that other Nigerian musicians are beginning to adopt his style.

The statement had directed public ire towards him as he came under heavy fire from many Nigerians online.

His comments also elicited a subliminal response from compatriot, Runtown, who tweeted that Mr. Eazi should not take things personally as was finishing what Mr. Eazi “think” he started.
