G-Worldwide’s legal tussle with estranged act, Kiss Daniel still continues in spite of the singer’s announcement that he now wishes to be known as “Kizz Daniel”.
The singer’s former manager, Louisa Williams explained in an interview with Sunday Scoop that the name change does not in any way interfere with the ongoing court case.
Williams said the label was not aware of the name change, even though it was widely reported when Kizz Daniel first made the change to his social media accounts.
“I actually did not know that he had changed his name until you told me. However, there is no big deal about that; it has nothing to do with the case.”
Williams reiterated that the legal battle between Kizz Daniel and G-Worldwide is still ongoing contrary to earlier reports that the singer had won.
“The next court date is June 26. It is not true that the case has been settled; so, I don’t know where all those reports came from. If there was anything like that, I would be aware of it.”
Louisa Williams said Kizz Daniel has continued to disregard court order, despite the court ruling that both parties maintain status quo.
“The court ruled that both parties should maintain the status quo, but Kizz Daniel is doing what is best known to him, which is contrary to what the court ordered,”
