Falz has won his second African Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA). This makes him the only musician to have won the award, twice.
The event which held at the Civic Centre in Victoria Island Lagos was primarily for actors.
Falz won the award for the “Best Supporting Actor” in recognition of his role in the movie, “New Money”.
While reacting to the award, Falz wondered in an Instagram post, how many of his contemporaries have won the same award twice.
“How many music-shan do you know is having two AMVCA?”

The multi-talented artist went further to appreciate his fans who have supported him in both his acting and music career.
Falz’s first major acting role was in the acclaimed comedy series, “Jenifa’s Diary”.
