D-Truce has released his debut album, 2 Birds 1 Stone. The album was released in the early hours of today via major digital outlets.

The artist first announced the project with a fun album cover on Wednesday on his Twitter.

D-Truce has been working on the album for the past three years. The project runs through from his days at X3M Music.

However, Truce explained in a newsletter unveiling the album that he wanted listeners to embrace the album with an open mind.

“When you listen to this album, I want you to listen with an open mind,” the Young Kulture founder said, “Allow the beauty of the sounds pull you in.”

“I want you to understand that it’s okay to be multi-dynamic at whatever you do. Because humans aren’t built to be one sided.

“This is why there are different layers to everyone, based on what our ultimate purpose is.”

In addition, Truce said that he wanted the project to be an encouragement for artists to pursue all aspect of their craft.

“Hopefully, this project inspires creative like myself to be the best possible version of all sides of themselves, telling their stories in the most sincere way possible, without forgetting who they truly are, killing 2 Birds with 1 stone.”

Meanwhile, 2 Birds 1 Stone is a 6-track project featuring Truce’s contemporaries like PayBac, Slayvelli, TylerRiddim, Straffitti and Dewa.

The tracks on the project include: “Freedom”, “Celebrity Champagne/Mom’s Mercedes”, “Feel/Conversation”, “Roll Up/The Hotbox Skit”, “Oga Police/9 to 5 Interview” and “City of Excellence”.

Also, most of the tracks were double-barrel tracks averaging over 5 minutes.
