The maverick Brymo’s supposed absence from the spotlight after the release of his acclaimed album, Klîtóris, has been a source of wonder for a lot of music fans.

The super-talented star has tied this absence to his need to “rest” and catch up with the real-world.

Brymo, who is preparing for the release of his upcoming album Osho in March, explained in a Loose Talk Podcast that he treats his music career as a “job.”

He said because of how regarded his music he has managed to continue to survive in the music business.

“To continue to be an artist successfully I have to treat it as a job. I wouldn’t say 9-5, because we don’t have days of working.”

He continued:

“For me to continue to be in the music business I have to treat it as a job, more than as a status.”

Brymo maintained that the music audience only cared for the musician when he keeps on making music.

“People only care to listen because I make music. When the music is gone I will also go home.”

He said the break was necessary because of his need to be fully involved in life.
