Brymo in a new interview with Culture Diaries hosted by Wana Udobang discussed how his music evolved from what was in vogue to the kind of music he truly wanted to be making.
He also stated how his fallout with Chocolate City turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it gave his turning point album ”Merchant Dealers And Slaves” a wave to ride on.
On his writing process, he said:
”I pretty much don’t censor myself when i write, i use materials that i like. I could be putting together an album for 12 track and i have 18-25 tracks and i need just 12. The hardest part is listening to myself sing the songs and then decide, i prefer this….I don’t use songs that are less than a year old….At the end of the day, i spend close to two years on an album….
