2baba released “4 Instance” back in 2006. The song became a classic hit. In fact, many still remember some sequences from the video today. The legendary artist has now done a remake for the song.
The remake titled “4 Instance Again” features Sound Sultan and Kelly Hansome. 2baba and Sound Sultan are known for some of their really inspiring works together. At some point, there were rumours that the duo will work on a collaborative full-length project together.
But that didn’t happen.
This is not a bad thing. Because music lovers still get a few collaboration here and there from the two. At least, this was enough to quench the thirst for a joint work between the two.
As with the original, “4 Instance Again” leans towards matters of the polity. 2baba, Sound Sultan and Kelly Hansome checked in on some of the top issues burning in public discourse today. Sadly, the issues on “4 Instance Again” are not so different from those on “4 Instance”.
The good thing about “4 Instance Again” is while it’s not thematically fresh, musically It’s got a sense of newness to it.
The song also has a video, featuring frames from the Buckwyld ‘n’ Breathless concert as well as scenes from the recording booth. Actor, Alexx Ekubo also featured in the video.
