Veteran singer Sound Sultan has advised Nigerian music fans to desist from comparing Wizkid to the late Afrobeat King, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
Sound Sultan told HIPTV today that the two artistes were entirely on a different pedestal.
Wizkid has drawn comparisons to Fela following his record-making performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London last Saturday.
Sound Sultan said he was sure Wizkid would not want to be compared with Fela, who he has idolised.
He said music fans should let the Starboy the results of his efforts without comparing him with the Afrobeat legend.
“It’s not necessary to compare Fela and Wizkid.” He maintained.
