Olamide is a champ and everybody knows. The YBNL oga never plays around when it comes to releasing songs. It is only last month he released “Spirit”, for May, Olamide says take “Oil & Gas”.
The superstar first teased the song on Instagram Live a few days ago. He then decided to release the song after his followers demanded he does so.
Badoo never rests, and so his fans, who he wants to always satisfy, will never rest too: the gbedu will be hitting them gbas gbos.
“Woske”, the single Olamide released in March, is still getting spins at clubs and on radio. “Oil & Gas”, if it grew big enough, will likely usurp that song.
It is not strange for one Olamide hit song to displace another Olamide hit. And music fans are always ready for that to happen; their taste is insatiable.
“Oil & Gas” is Olamide’s appeal to oil magnates and cash cows in Nigeria to give him money. The artist is not saying give me money because I want to something for you. He is saying give me money because you have the money.

The economy is hitting Olamide hard. The same way you need money for things, he too needs money for things. But you are not him. You don’t have patrons that would save your ass, so you can’t do a song called “Oil & Gas” for rich people to give you money.
