Since Olamide’s breakthrough in 2010, the rapper has consistently put in work. The YBNL champ is one of the few prolific artists in Nigeria; hardly was there a year he did not put out at least one full-length project.
So, if he tells young cats to “Buga Small Small” the rapper sure knows what he is saying. The new song he released few days ago now has an official video.
Olamide did not do anything elaborate in the video for “Buga Small Small”, a song which sees him recounting his accomplishments. For whatever purpose he wanted those lines to serve, his accomplishments quite match up with how he wanted industry folk to see him.
It is a tricky affair to peg the artist in a box. At any rate, when the rapper discovers people are starting to sleep on his rapping abilities, he puts out a rap song to remind you all that the bars are still there.
