Iyanya had a one kind first quarter in 2019. It is around that quarter he decided to open up about what’s been eating him up since he left MMMG before the end of 2017.
Now that the singer has publicly addressed that side of things, he’s focus on pushing his music to the best of his ability.
“Ijeoma” is one of Iyanya’s efforts to reestablish himself in the music scene once again. The song is a mid-tempo bop produced by Yung Alpha.
Iyanya enlists DMW singer, Peruzzi on the project. The duo are not unlike each other. They both have had dramatic halo on their names this year. Except that Peruzzi’s circumstances is rather telling of his character.
Last month, news broke that Peruzzi slapped an influencer over comments on his music. That is to say, if you’re listening to “Ijeoma” with the intention of judging or harshly criticising the song, you can chill for now.
Anyways, Iyanya and Peruzzi are more in their love interest on this song than any other thing. The lyrics is catchy and it may be worth your time.
