Phyno knows how to his thing. The dexterity with which he switches between rap and singing is delightful. He has demonstrated this ability in several of his songs.

The way he navigates both extremes is probably why he’s scored so many hit songs. That is not stopping anyhow soon.

Phyno brings some of the energy many has come to attribute to him in the new song “The Bag”. The singer dropped the song yesterday.

“The Bag” is straight to the point and you can be sure Phyno isn’t bluffing when he takes on the subject. Everything he says on the song has high fidelity characteristics.

Everyone knows that the bag is generally “money”. Phyno isn’t trying to secure the bag any longer. He already has the bag locked down.

The artist sing/rap about the size of his pocket. And seeing as it is cultural for Nigerians to mistake a skinny human for a poor person, the star’s decision to use his body size as a means to communicate how buoyant he is financially isn’t out of place.

The “Agu” has less than 5% fat in his body, but it is not for lack of money, he says. His bank account is fat like “Yokozuna”.

Stay alert because the artist may decide to flex on everyone shortly because “too much money dey”.
