Veteran rapper, Illbliss is one of Nigeria’s most prolific musicians. Since the beginning of his career, the rapper has been serving the hip-hop community tirelessly.

Even at the time when Afrobeats scene became the face of Nigerian music Illbliss still continued to put out materials. In the spirit of this prolific drive, the rapper has put out a new project, Illosophy.

Illosophy is coming less than eight months after the release of Illygaty. This project is a demonstration of Illbliss’s OG status in the Nigerian rap scene.

The artist’s new project comes out after his involvement in the Hero marketing campaign, Echefula, where he was the poster boy and also the campaign soundtrack.

Illosophy is a very short project, not unlike an EP, as it has only 7 tracks. Illbliss pays homage to his Thoroughbred associate, B Elect on one of the tracks on the album.

The album opens with the intro “Player to a Coach”, “Ruler2”, “Lie Down Dia”, “Osadebe (Kenebe)”, “Die There (Hustle)”, “Grown Man Rap” and “Thankful”.

The guest list on this album is almost nonexistent except for the appearance of Uzezi on “Thankful”.

Illbliss continues to seal his place in the Nigerian rap history books: his steady release of projects means that his fans are never left wondering when the next project will drop.

The rapper’s latest release is his second shot this year and it beefs up to his strong discography which already has the acclaimed Powerful, Illy Bomaye, Illygaty: 7075 and a couple of others.
