Jidenna has been preparing for the release of his sophomore album, 85 to Africa for over a month now. The album is now finally out on all platforms.
Prior to the release of the album, Jidenna released two singles, “Sufi Woman” and “Tribe” off the project.
He also shared two new singles, “Sou Sou” and “Zodi” on which Mr Eazi appeared.
85 to Africa contains 11 tracks which were almost entirely produced by Jidenna’s frequent collaborator, Nana Kwabena.
Some of the other songs off the album include: “Worth the weight”, “85 to Africa”, “Babouche”, “Vaporiza”, “Pretty & Afraid”, “Jungle Fever” and “The Other Half”.
Asides Mr Eazi, Jidenna brings on Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, Ethiopian-American singer Mereba,rapper Goldlink and R&B/Soul duo St. Beauty.
85 To Africa follows up his 2017 debut album, The Chief, and last year’s EP, Boomerang.
