DJ Neptune released his long project, Greatness last year. The album managed to reach acclaim with its nice singles here and there.
Greatness houses some of the biggest singles in Nigeria from last year. “Wait”, “Tear Rubber” and others are some of those recall-able numbers.
DJ Neptune is expected to drop an album, a follow up to Greatness, sometimes this year. In fact, the first single — “Demo” featuring Davido — off that project has already been released.
But pending an announcement of the official album release date, DJ Neptune has released an EP Love & Greatness.
The EP isn’t new in its real sense as it features all the songs on the disc jockey’s previous albums. All those songs were given an EDM makeover, courtesy of Sigag Lauren.
Love & Greatness is only 6 tracks long and it continues with the star-studded cast Neptune is known to have access to. Some of those stars include Mayorkun, Mr Eazi, Runtown and more.
The EP opens with “Demo”, “Marry”, “Why”, “Tear Rubber”, “Wait” while it closes with “Shawa Shawa” which Slimcase, CDQ, Larry Gaaga and Olamide all appeared on.

Meanwhile, DJ Neptune’s upcoming album is still being expected. Even though there’s no official release date yet, there are hints that the album will come before the end of the year.
The disc jockey ended 2018 on a high note and started 2019 well. His follow up project should be nothing short of better than its predecessor.
