BOJ has been making strategic moves since the beginning of the year. In April, the artist went to Ghana and brought back a mad jam. The jam featured some of the country’s brightest stars like Joey B, Darkovibes and Kwesi Arthur.
The song is called “Awolowo” and it sees BOJ reinstating himself as the king of hooks. Radio stations in Nigeria can’t simply overlook the jam.
What does this mean? It simply means “Awolowo” not only have a place on the charts, but also a spike in downloads.
The artist is known to just stop. He makes that extra move and that’s what is seen again with the release of “Awolowo remix”.
On the remix, he brings on Falz, YCEE and Fresh L as guests on the song.
Reactions have been coming out since the release of the song at midnight. It’s all positive response for the new “Awolowo”, just like the first one.
And one listener tweets at BOJ to state their preference, BOJ, in a quick show of wit, responded that he owned the two songs.
Fresh L has also tweeted about the song. Here’s what he said:
“If u go on Awolowo road & ask about this gentleman or u meet any Awolowo, you’d hear nothing but amazing things about the man we call Fresh L,” the artist wrote in one tweet.

Meanwhile, word is that BOJ and Ajebutter22 are dropping a collaborative EP soon. Their first joint effort is called Make E No Cause Fight and it was released last year.
The release date and the title of the new EP has not been announced.
