Yemi Alade has won the “Best Female” West Africa category at the recently concluded AFRIMMA 2018 award ceremony.

The “Johnny” singer who also performed her hit single “Oh My Gosh” at the ceremony won in spite competition from other female big name artists.

Yemi Alade was not the only Nigerian victor at the 2018 AFRIMMA.

The likes of Wizkid, Davido, Flavour all won major categories in the awards.

Yemi Alade is arguably the most relevant Nigerian musician across the African continent.
