There are many conspiracies about what started the on and off beef between Wizkid and Davido, and there are perhaps even more about what eventually brought it to an end after several years.
In a recent interview with HIPTV, Wizkid said he reached out to Davido first. He said he texted the DMW boss and he gave a positive response.
“I just called him and we made it happen; It’s not a big deal.” He said.
“If you really know me, the ones that know me know that Wizkid is all about one love, togetherness and just working together.”
Wizkid stated that all the social media exchanges that were supposed to be the main cause of rift between him and his colleague were all “hype”.
“That’s not real stuff. The real stuff is putting food on my table and making sure that people around me are successful; they turn into their own bosses. That’s what makes me happy.”
