Brief introductions
Efya, is a self-described neo-soul singer, songwriter and actress originally from Kumasi who doesn’t shy away from her sexier side. She has a degree in Theatre and Music from the University of Ghana, Accra but her career in music began to take off in 2008 when she became the first runner-up in the Stars of The Future television show. Efya has won a number of local awards, including the Ghana Music Awards and the 4Syte TV Music Video Awards. Her last album Janesis featured Iceprince and Sarkodie and was released just last month under One Nation Entertainment. No information on whether that contract has run its course or not.
Mr. Eazi is an eclectic Nigerian-born singer based in Accra but has ties to Kumasi as well, having gone to university at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. His style is more Afro-pop but with a laid back approach to the way its delivered. His popularity is a lot more recent than than Efya’s but he’s worked with his new label mate before on the popular hit “Skin tight”. Skin tight has been getting more and more spins in Nigeria, but perhaps his biggest song i his country of birth is “Bankulize”. Yung 6ix has his own version of the song on the radio. Mr Eazi is currently signed to and managed by Meister Music, Ghana, we aren’t clear how this new arrangement affects his current agreement either.

And last but not least – R2Bees. R2Bees have worked with the likes of Wande Coal, Yemi Alade and their new label boss Wizkid and have delivered hit crossover songs of their own, so the awesome twosome need no introduction. Wizkid announced that one half of the team, Omar Sterling, however would assume the role of president of the label.
New president Starboy worldwide Omar Sterling @Paedeezy !! ??? #Starboy!!
