You remember the online beef between artiste Wizkid and celebrity blogger Linda Ikeji? Well, according to NET.ng, the matter has taken a new turn. The two have traded words online for a while back but matters got out of hand when the blogger reported that the singer has been served with a quit notice from his Lekki home after giving everyone the impression that he owned the house.
The singer took to twitter to insult her and called her several derogatory names. He even threatened to have her beaten by his cousin. The blogger decided she had enough and has now reported the threat to the Lagos State commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni.
A summons was then issued inviting the singer to the Police station to state his side of things. Te summons was served through his manager, Sunday Are.
The singer however didn’t show up at the Police station.
If the matter eventually makes it to a court of law, the singer may be liable to an imprisonment term of 7 years.
