Waje will release a reggae album in 2019. This announcement does not come off as strange. The singer has done something similar in “I Wish”, off her WAJE album.

The singer revealed this during an interview with Pulse. Waje said she would also release two EPs between 2018 and 2019.

“I am coming out with another single in August, something else in September,” Waje said in the interview.

“Then I will be dropping one E.P on my birthday [September 1st], and I have another E.P in February 2019, and then, I am dropping a Reggae album next year.”

Waje said she has received rave reviews for some of her previous attempts at making reggae music.

She said these reviews were the factors driving her to release a full reggae album.

The reggae album will be a prelude for her upcoming tour of the Caribbean.

“Everywhere I go, people go like ‘I love your reggae songs’… Then I met someone who told me they want me on a Caribbean tour, hence the Reggae album.”

Waje reiterated that she would be touring lots of states and country in the coming year.
