Naija’s own Tiwa Savage has been revealed as one of the artistes that will be perfoming at this year’s Essence ‘Black Women in Music’ event.
This is the 8th edition of the annual event which is part of the activities leading up to the Grammy awards.
The event is being held to honour the year’s extraordinary Grammy female nominees and also to celebrate four-time Grammy winner Erykah Badu on the 20th anniversary of her groundbreaking debut album, Baduizm.
The event will be held on Thursday, February 9, in Los Angeles.
