Tiwa Savage has been quiet about the recent sampling of her song by Ciara. The Lova Lovasinger is deliberate about her quietness.

The singer was responding to questions about the sampling on Sound City FM recently.

Tiwa Savage said she was not in the place to discuss the circumstances of the sampling at the moment.

“I’m not at liberty to discuss this right now,” Tiwa Savage responded when asked to clarify the issue.

Ciara had lifted parts of Tiwa Savage’s “Before Nko” in her new song, “Freak Me” which featured Tekno.

In the song credits, Tiwa Savage, D’Prince and Donjazzy were named, but Tiwa Savage did not acknowledge so.

Also, Ciara wrote a tweet citing Tiwa Savage’s influence on “Freak Me”, but she did not acknowledge the tweet.
