The Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards 2016 are here and the nominees for this year’s Best African Act are Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Olamide, Tekno, Mr Eazi, Moelogo, Eugy, Mr Silva.
The category has always been a fiercely competitive one and will be reduced to five final nominees by October 17, 2016.
This is the 21st edition of the prestigious awards and this year’s ceremony would be held in Glasgow at the SSE Hydro on Friday November 4, 2016.
Stormzy, Skepta and Tinie Tempah all of Nigerian origin are also nominated in the Best Male Act category.
