Tiwa Savage has left Mavin Records. The singer made the announcement via Instagram earlier today.
She is now signed to Universal Music Group, one of the top 3 global music labels.
The singer cleared all her Instagram timeline of posts that could hint of her past with Mavin.
In a video she posted in her Story, Tiwa Savage said signing to Universal Music Group was a dream for her.
“It’s like a dream, honestly,” She said in the video.
“But more importantly, it means I’m part of the legacy; I’m part of a huge engine. And that is definitely an honour.”
The Universal deal is an artist deal that would see the singer at the global powerhouse for an undisclosed period.
The Number 1 African Bad Girl had spent 6 years at the label before announcing the decision to move on.
While with Mavin, she released 3 projects, including Once Upon A Time, RED and Sugarcane EP.
