Zlatan is the presently the golden boy of Nigerian music. He is taking on verses and killing them; whether guest or his own. He continues to do so as he jumps on “Faraway”, a song by Sexy Steel.
A fashion designer and musician, Sexy Steel has had his own time in the music industry. The good thing is, he does not disappear entirely: he always finds a way to lurk. This is what he manages to do with “Faraway”.
“Faraway” is produced by P.Priime and it opens with a strong verse by Zlatan, who takes a confident swipe at his haters. The song maintains its upbeat level from the beginning to the end.
Sexy Steel affirms Zlatan’s verse by highlighting his various abilities and how denigrat(ors) want him to fail. The verses on “Faraway” are well distributed, it is such that you get enough dose of Zlatan and enough of Sexy Steel.
The song is also catchy to the point that you may not forget its hook after listening.
“Faraway” is an obvious tweak of Wizkid and Skepta’s “Bad Energy”. The difference here is that Sexy Steel x Zlatan are willing to do away with bad energy so much that they would order an Über to send it far far away from their sakani.
