Small Doctor has claimed that he has never written any of his songs. He just showed up and recorded them.
The renowned street ambassador said his approach to music is recognised by his contemporaries.
Small Doctor would further say that all his popular songs were not written.
“None of my hit songs was written,” the singer said.
“Artistes that I have worked with like Don Jazzy and Olamide know I don’t write lyrics, and I don’t think they have a problem with that.”
Meanwhile, the artist has addressed accusations that most of his songs are meaningless.
The “Penalty” singer urged listeners to go check out the songs again and see if it sounded same way.
“Anyone who says my songs do not pass messages should reflect on them again, and they will realise that there are messages in my songs.”
“Some of those messages are passed with street slangs, and by telling stories. Commercial music is trending in Nigeria now, and everyone wants food on their table; you just have to make it unique.”
