Ace producer Samklef has described international superstar, Wizkid, as the “Chosen One”.
The producer, who had previously produced hit songs for Starboy, told HIPTV that he was delighted with the star’s accomplishments.
He described Wizkid as a pacesetter who has risen the bar higher for others.
He said the exploits of the artist has impacted on other artists who now felt they could achieve more as long as they were diligent.
He also acknowledged Wizkid’s impact on his own career, adding that the best of his works were from four years ago, particularly those he did for Wizkid.
“Seeing Wizkid’s success right now, it gives me joy. I think most of the things happening my life right now is still part of the things I did four years ago.”
The producer had had a skirmish with Wizkid back in 2014, he said he has put that behind him and was happy to be part of the singer’s success story.
