It’s looking like Runtown’s rift with his record label is at an end. Sources have confirmed that the musician and the record label have opted to settle their matter out of court with modifications to their initial contract.

The new agreement is said to give Runtown more control and is less like a Master-Slave relationship and more of a partnership. He however will remain with the label for another year.

It’s also rumoured that he will be floating his own label going the way of the likes of Lil Kesh. The label is to be named Power In The Music (PITM). This we gathered from an Instagram post.

Hopefully, other upcoming artistes will learn from this and make informed choices before signing contracts.
