Artiste, Runtown was invited as a special guest to speak to the Harvard African Student Association. His topic was the emergence of African music and how it has influenced pop culture worldwide.
This is coming on the wake of his U.S tour which was just concluded.
He also urged international record companies to invest more in the structure and growth of music on the African continent during his presentation.
Just before his presentation, he was given a special shout out by Grammy-nominated producer Nana Kwabena who worked with Jidenna on his latest album.
We can’t help but be hopeful that a song comes out of their mutual admiration.
