The General Elections of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN) held yesterday and the interim President, Pretty Okafor of the defunct Junior and Pretty duo was reelected as the head of the music body.
His return was unopposed as his opponents Sunny Neji, Ruggedman and Zaakyn Azaay, Tolu Obey-Fabiyi, Felix Duke and Asha Gangali and the likes stepped down for him due to the admirable work he’s done in the past 18 month.
Other executives elected are Sunny Neji -first vice president, ZaakyAzaay -second vice president and Tolu Obey-Fabiyi – National Treasurer.
Giving his acceptance speech, Pretty thanked the members for their vote and the confidence in him. He also took time to appreciate the founding fathers of the body who started the body and put plans into motion to make it become a reality.
