Praiz has explained his approach to music making in a new interview. The X3M Music singer was on Hot 93.3 FM’s morning show, The Koffee Gang.
The singer told the show hosts he liked to make music the way he felt.
“You’re supposed to make music that makes people fall in love; music that make people think about decisions,” Praiz said.
The singer is renowned for being one of the few champions of RnB in Nigeria. But his intention is to make variety of music.
“You’re supposed to make music that’d make people happy and dance. I’m a musician and I’d love to give those different feelings to people.”
Praiz reiterated that his preference for RnB music hasn’t changed. However, he would continue to do music the way he felt.
“Sometimes, I put out a track which is like afropop, a lot of times, I put RnB tracks: it’s just that balance.”
