M.I. Abaga called on you rappers to fix up your lives. They first of all scuttled about, doing verbal calisthenics and counterattack. But see, Abaga said he has seen “changes”.

The artist told Punch’s Sunday Scoop in a recent interview that his controversial song was just a wake up call to Nigerian rappers.

“Since I called out Nigerian rappers to fix up their lives, I have seen changes,” M.I. Abaga told Sunday Scoop.

“I believe that we have great and talented rappers in Nigeria; I was just trying to wake them up from their slumber.”

M.I. said his focus is on honing his craft and putting out some of his best works yet.

Jude Abaga has sanctioned the release of two albums; Crown and A Study On Self-Worth: Yxng Dxnzl under his Chocolate City label.

The two albums reached critical acclaim: The project spoke the love language of the Nigerian hip-hop audience.
