The Nigeria Police Force has denied claims that men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) arrested X3M Music star, Praiz, yesterday.
According to a statement by the Lagos State Police Command Spokesperson, Superintendent Chike Oti, the singer was arrested by regular policemen because he was driving at an excessive speed.
Oti explained that men of the force had stopped the singer with the intention to conduct a stop and search.
He said the singer immediately brought out his phone and started filming the scene while screaming at the top of his voice at the men.
According to Oti, the police then asked Praiz to follow them to the station to explain the reason for his outburst.
The spokesperson also confirmed that the singer has been released immediately after the issue was resolved.
