Phyno in his latest interview, sat down to an interview with Olisa Adibua and Maria Okarende of Beat FM where he talked about his most recent album ”The Playmaker” as well as the controversy surrounding the single ”I’m A Fan” which is on the album.

When asked why he hadn’t shot the video for the song, he said it was hard to pin down the artists who featured on the song DeCarlo and Mr Eazi as they are not even in the same country. He also added that the song isn’t his typical style but as an album had to have different flavors, he added it.

On the issue of copyright infringement with American artist Pia Mia, he said:

”I don’t want to call her name because of some legal things…My whole team have said that i should stay low because some things are going on underground that i won’t talk about right now. But everything that went down on the song went down correctly…

When asked if he broke any rules, he answered in the affirmative. He also accused blogs of lying about what went down.
