Odunsi, the Engine has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music. Prior to this time, the singer has been distributing his music on popular music streaming platform, SoundCloud.
Odunsi started his music career in 2016 and since then he’s continued to be present in the Nigerian music scene.
His debut project Time of Our Lives was listed as one of the best independent projects released in 2016.
According to a report by Music Week, Odunsi is presently working on his debut album, Rare. The release date is yet to be announced.
The Engine said he is excited to have signed with the Warner/Chappell.
“I’m really pleased to be joining the roster at Warner/Chappell and can’t wait to work with Amber who has such an amazing reputation for helping songwriters,” Odunsi said.
“I’ve always made music in collaboration with others and am looking forward to working more with songwriters from around the world.”
A&R director of Warner/Chappell Music, Amber Davis described Odunsi as a “fresh and impressive young talent”.
