Mr Eazi is the headline act for the upcoming “Trace Live” concert. The artist was announced as the headline act barely a few days after the release of his project, Lagos to London.
“The Eazi Journey” is organised by Bolanle Austen-Peters. “The Eazi Journey” will be the fifth session of “Trace Live” ever.
Prior to now, Omawumi, Flavour, Falz and Adekunle Gold have featured in earlier sessions of “Trace Live”.
“Trace Live” is a live music concert which include live performances by artists and their band. The goal of the event is to allow artists perform to fans in an intimate setting.
Managing director of Trace Anglophone, Sam Onyemelukwe described Mr Eazi as one of music’s best ambassadors.
“Trace Live with Mr Eazi continues from a rich tradition,” Onyemelukwe said in a statement.
He said the involvement of Mr Eazi in the fifth edition of the concert would build on the earlier tradition, while also redefining it.
“With a fusion of Afrobeats sounds and Banku Music, Mr Eazi generates an electrifying energy with his musical genre with a pattern that has magnetic appeal within and outside Nigeria. Hence, the wordplay of his new album, Lagos to London; an odyssey we must all partake in.”
