Modenine & Kidconnect Release Joint EP, “Long Story Short”, After 11 Years; Listen Here

Legendary Nigerian rapper, Modenine and ace producer, Kid Konnect have announced the release of an EP, Long Story Short.

Modenine, who is now based in the United Kingdom, announced the release today on his Instagram page.

Long Story Short EP is a collection of previous works by Modenine and Kid Konnect since they started working together. Most of the songs were recorded in 2007.

The EP is 5-track long and it is completely produced by Kid Konnect. Apparently, the project is home for some of Modenine’s efforts that have not found home yet, even though some of the songs on Long Story Short were previously released as part of other projects.

The first song of “Victory” before its re-release was part of Modenine’s famous 30 Days Of Modenine daily series, done in 2015.

“I never stop halfway, I do it all the way.” Modenine rapped on “All The Way”, a track which had bars from “Death Blow”, Modenine’s famous diss track against Ruggedman.

Other tracks on the EP include: “Bring It Back”, “Make It Happen”, “All The Way” and “My Life”.
