L.A.X will release his debut album on the 26th of October. Rasaking is one of the long-awaited projects by any Nigerian artist.
Rasaki has also released the tracklist of the upcoming project.
He released the tracklist via his Instagram timeline recently. The album has 15-track and 2 bonuses.
Some of the tracks on the project include “Specially”, “Say”, “Slow Whine”, “Shakara”, “Wassap”, “Mo Lowo”, “Same Girl”, “Money” and a host of others.
“Panama” and “Gbefun” made the bonus cuts. The two songs were released as singles.
Rasaki said in one interview that: “I worked with on the album are Davido, Wizkid and Ycee.”
While Rasaking has a host of high-profile features, the album does not feature any of L.A.X long-time associates.
However, Maleek Berry appeared on the project. Wizkid signed Maleek Berry to Starboy Records around the same time he announced Rasaki.
Davido, Duncan Mighty, Yemi Alade and Moelogo made the list of featured artists on the project.
Also, the singer released the video for his “Panama” a few days ago.
The album was supposed to drop earlier. But the singer explained in an interview that he lost the hard drive.
“Right now I’m working on my album. Last year I was working on it but I lost my hard drive on which I had close to 90 songs on,” he said in the interview.
L.A.X Album Listening Party
Meanwhile, L.A.X hosted a listening party for Rasaking yesterday. The event held yesterday at the Backyard Bar and Grill in Victoria Island in Lagos.
Several listeners attended the event which eventually turned to a live performance.
The artist first made his entrance into the music industry on the Wizkid-assisted “Caro” in 2013.
L.A.X then released “Ginger” in 2014 to fans’ delight. Ever since then, he has grown to be one of the most delightful musicians in the country.
