Kizz Daniel has shared his thoughts on being a label owner. This is coming months after his embattled exit from G-Worldwide Entertainment.

The singer formerly known as Kiss Daniel told Vibe magazine he is beginning to feel like a father figure to his label signees.

“The transition has been great. I’m beginning to feel more and more like a father,” Kizz Daniel said in the interview.

Vado noted that being an artist and a label owner has helped him become selfless in a way.

“It takes a whole lot of time and energy to be an artist and a CEO at the same time. You have to think about yourself, you have to think about your artiste and you always have to put your artist first.

“You want to put the artiste in a very good place so that at the end of the day, he can look back and say, Kizz Daniel, did well with me so whenever he is all by himself and he thinks about it, he’ll remember that ‘this dude actually came through for me’. That’s what I’m doing right now and I really enjoy it.”

Daniel who has signed artist, Demmie Vee to his label spoke highly of his signee.

“I’m glad I have Demmie Vee on board. He’s an amazing talent.  I’m actually very excited about this particular artiste because I know he’s got what it takes to become the next big thing in the industry.”

The singer left G-Worldwide in the early part of 2018. He then went ahead to found his own Flyboy Inc. label.

Since the establishment of the label, Kizz Daniel has been battling with G-Worldwide over contract breaches. This forced him to change from his former name, “Kiss Daniel” to adopt the “Kizz Daniel” name.

The legal battle with G-Worldwide is still ongoing as they have now taken ownership of the “Kizz Daniel” name too.
