The release of The Cold Tape, an extended play (EP) by ex-Chocolate City rapper, Ice Prince has been pushed back.

Iceprince announced the decision in a post on his Twitter today.

The release of the tape was suspended due to the recent tragedy rocking the country and the rapper’s hometown, Plateau State.

“Sincere apology to all my #Zamaniacs worldwide for not putting out Cold EP this week, as promised,” Iceprince wrote in the tweet.

“A lot has gone down these past few days that we had to put it on hold. We pray for peace all over the world, and also comfort for the bereaved.”

The rapper said the EP would be release soon, however, he did not make the new release date public.
