Media outlet, HIPTV, reportedly lost several of its equipment in a fire incident that happened at its Ikeja studio yesterday.

A statement released by the company’s CEO, Ayo Animashaun, on his personal Instagram account revealed that the studio and all its equipment was ruined by the fire which started at around 5.30pm.

The cause of the fire was not stated but according to Ayo, “some staff saw smoke emitting from our studio. At the end of it all, our entire studio as well as assorted equipment, that were assembled for over a decade were razed. But we are thankful that no lives were lost.”

Thankfully, Animashaun confirmed that no lives were lost in the incident, he also assured that HIPTV would continue production in spite of the severity of the incident.
