Dremo’s first EP, Codename will be released on Friday 20th of July 2018, a statement by the label boss, Davido has confirmed.

The DMW boss made the confirmation in an Instagram post unveiling the project’s cover art.

Dremo’s debut project, Codename was first announced towards the end of last year.

Codename is a 9-track project and it features several DMW artists including the newly signed, Sinzu, Davido, Mayorkun and  Simi.

The tracks include: “Faya”; “Nobody”; “Bigger Meat”; “Hey Ma”; “Dapada”; “KPA”; “Unbelieva”; “Breezy” and; “Fan of my Fan”.

While Dremo has yet to say anything about his upcoming project except for a not too revealing post on Instagram.

Davido wrote in his Instagram post that the project is what the rapper’s fans have been waiting for.

“Too excited for this one, I know fans must have been waiting for this one,” Davido said in the post.

The label boss explained that he had to create an enabling environment for Dremo to complete the project.

“I had to take him to Atlanta to change the air around him and he made this amazing body of work.”

Davido hinted that the project would likely change the face of African rap. However, until its release, the creative direction of the project is still under a cloak.
