Fast-rising rapper, Djaji Prime has released a new mixtape, ExPRESSIONS. ExPRESSIONS is a collaborative effort with renowned hip-hop producer, CHx.
The project was released across major digital platforms in the early hours of today.
Djaji Prime told Filterfree in Twitter chat that the project was a fulfillment of his childhood dream.
“[with this tape I’m] bringing something different to the hip-hop scene,” Djaji said in the chat.
“On a more personal level, [ExPRESSION is] a fulfillment of my childhood dream.”
Meanwhile, ExPRESSION features fast-rising rapper, PayBac, Boogey, Ria Sean, ODC and Mon Lee.
The project is packed with 12 rap songs which include tracks like “POT”, “Hottest in the Streets” and “Mumu”.
The rapper, also known as just Djaji explained that he had begun working on the project since 2018.
“I started writing in May, I wanted an avenue to channel my emotions, “expression” seemed simple enough, so I settled on that. The point was to channel emotions and mind-states to music.
“From the jump. Rewrote it a couple times. But meeting up with CHx helped set everything in motion.”
