Felabration, The annual festival celebrating the life of one of the greatest artistes to ever come out Nigeria and the creator of the Afrobeat Genre, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti has announced the date for the 2016 edition.
The concept is also wearing a new look as the logo and theme for this year are looking different. The Logo shows the words ‘Everybody say Yeah Yeah’ which the late Fela was fond of saying.
This will be the 19th edition of the Felabration edition and other concepts incoporated into this year’s celebrations are the Senior Secondary School’s Debate, Symposium, Carnival and the regular 7 days Musical Concerts which has every artistes display various creativity and talents at the New Africa Shrine, Ikeja.
According to the Felabration Organising Committee, the concerts will take place at the New Africa Shrine, Freedom Park, Kalakuta Museum and a host of other venues.
The events will start on the 6th of October, take a break then resume from the 10th of October and end on the 16th of October 2016.
