Burna Boy Signs Deal With Universal Music Group’s Publishing Arm

Burna Boy has signed a deal with Universal Music Publishing Group. The singer became topic of discussion again following the release of Kanye West’s new album, ye.

Several reports confirmed that music fans from the US and other parts of America were accidentally discovering Burna Boy’s song “Ye” off the Outside album.

A post by UMPG in the late hours of yesterday confirmed the signing with the music giants.

Not much is known of the nature of the deal so far. However, there are indications that the deal is a publishing deal.

Universal Music Publishing Group has some of the biggest songwriters and artists on their list. Eminem, SZA, Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban and many others are on the group’s roster.
